bitcoin-smol is a tiny market where people post offers to buy or sell bitcoin for their local money, then settle the trade between themselves, over GCash, a bank transfer, Revolut, cash or whatever they agree on.
There are no accounts, no company in the middle, no escrow and no one to complain to. You trade with a person, and the only thing protecting you is your own judgement and their reputation.
Start small. With someone nobody you know has traded with, start with something like $2. Build a history of good trades and raise the amounts as trust grows.
